Pure Books Table Tennis Tournament

The long awaited first ever Table Tennis Tournament at Pure Books is here!

We invite you to join us for a game (or a few) of table tennis every Saturday 1:30-3:30pm for the month of February. Whether you just want to have a go or dust off your talent from high school days then now is the time to test your skills. Games will be held at Pure Books lounge. Please bring your own bat. The first three weeks of February will be practice games (no cost).

Tournament Registration Details

There will be a tournament held on the last Saturday (22nd February) where the winner earns the title of the Pure Table Tennis Champion!

If you are keen to compete please register your name, phone number and the age group you will be competing in.

There are two age groups available to enter:

1. 14 and under
2. 15 and over

Cost is $10 per person. Please register by emailing: shop@purebooks.nz OR msg 022 620 6772 OR register in person during shop hours.

For the not-a-table-tennis-person

If you’re not really a table tennis sort of a person but you would still like to come along and support your mates or you’d rather just come and hang out during these times then you are more than welcome! The more the merrier! BYO snacks. We have a coffee machine available for you coffee drinkers.

Shop hours

Though our shop normally closes at 1pm on Saturdays, it will remain open during table tennis time. So feel free to browse and buy some books, if you wish!
